Police Confirm Bank Robbery at TD Canada Trust

Canada Trust RobberyPolice have confirmed a bank robbery at TD Canada Trust, in Surrey, Canada. The robbery took place shortly after 8:30am local time, after numerous calls regarding the matter.

The Newton area has been warned by Surrey Mounties about the robbery, and all staff and customers have been evacuated according to initial reports. There is no confirmation yet that that is the case. Most of the area is closed, and resources have been called in by officials.

Surrey RCMP is continually updating its Twitter feed to keep local residents updated on the matter. User Matt Lee is also updating people, sharing that there are no hostages but the suspects are armed. The location of the suspect(s) is unknown at this time, but he/she may be still in the British Columbia bank.
