A swath of snow will sweep across the country from the Rocky Mountains to the Great Lakes, following the storm that just dropped up to 8 inches of snow in the Northeast. U.S. Weather Forecast March 22, 2016:
Rain will continue moving onshore from Central California, north into Washington State and Canada. However, it is not expected to make it into Southern California, which continue to experience drought conditions. Readers can find the current measurements for California’s snow pack and reservoirs in “Improved Drought Conditions in California, But It Is Not Over.”
Between Tuesday and Thursday, snow will fall across the northern United States from the Rockies to the Great Lakes, thanks to Winter Storm Selene.
On Wednesday, there will be violent storms from Texas to St. Louis, with rain also forecast for states from Mississippi and Alabama, north to Illinois and Ohio.
