Weather forecast April 6, 2016:  The weather has been harsh in the Northeast, despite the fact that we are officially into spring.  In fact, the weather in the Eastern half of the U.S. will take a brief break on Wednesday before it becomes even worse, with temperatures lingering 5 to 30 degrees below normal. After five to eight inches of snow dropped in the Northeast over the past few days, there will be a brief break before more bad weather and cold temperatures hit the eastern half of the U.S.  Meanwhile, it will be warm in most of the Western States.  Below is the “Big Picture.”
