The Duchess of Cambridge, who appears to be taking some fashion cues from her royal mother-in-law, is elegant in all-black for the British Remembrance Day Service. She looked stunning as she joined her husband Prince William for the sombre event.
Shades of Diana at the London Remembrance Day Service
The service was held to honour all the brave soldiers who suffered or gave their lives in war. Even though at this event it is customary to wear a black ensemble and a hat, it would be a stretch not to make the comparison with Princess Diana.
Kate wore a black Diana Von Furstenburg ‘Leo’ coat decorated with the only colour point- a contrasting, signature red poppy emblem, creating a look startlingly like William’s late-mother Diana’s ensemble at the same event years ago. She also stood in the same location as Princess Diana did in 1991, just above Whitehall’s Cenotaph, which is the main war memorial in central London.
The world now anticipates the impeccable style and grace presented by the Duchess of Cambridge and were not disappointed when she just recently visited Canada’s west coast. She stunned with her chique daily ensembles during the eight days of the royal visit. The well-loved couple, William and Kate, toured key locations and attended events in their honour- some with their adorable children- Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The visit was dated from September 24 to October 1.
