The newest addition to the “Avengers” franchise will not be released until 2018, but the film is already causing a stir among “Avengers” fans…and fans of “Guardians of the Galaxy”. The two films will be involved in a crossover!
Zoe Saldana who plays Gamora in “Guardians of the Galaxy” has confirmed that she will appear in the newest “Avengers” film titled “Infinity War”. Actor Vin Diesel also confirmed that he would be appearing in the new “Avengers” film as Groot.
GOTG director James Gunn also confirmed the crossover between the two films.
But according to the cast listing for “Avengers: Infinity War” on the Internet Movie Data Base, Saldana and Diesel aren’t the only Guardians stars that will be a part of the crossover.
Also appearing in the New “Avengers: Infinity War” film are Chris Pratt as Peter Quill and the Star-Lord, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff and the Black Widow, Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff and the Scarlet Witch, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Raccoon, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers and Captain America, Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark and the Iron Man, Brie Larson as Carol Danvers and Captain Marvel, Dave Bautista as Drax, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Holland as Peter Parker and Spiderman, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.
However; there will not be any “Avengers” appearing in the upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” film being released later this year.
Crews are currently filming the movie in the United Kingdom and are being shot in IMAX.
