Brief Bachelor Recap Jan. 23, 2017:

Tonight’s show opened with last week’s pool party and a confrontation between Vanessa and Nick over his behavior in the bounce house with Corinne.  Meanwhile, Corinne was taking a nap upstairs, so Taylor and Sarah woke her and talked to her about her behavior.  This was followed by the rose ceremony which had not been shown last week.  Nick sent home Brittany and Christen.

After the rose ceremony, Corinne made a speech about how lucky they are, which did nothing but irritate the remaining women.

Nick then told all the women to pack up.  They were going to his hometown of Waukesha, Wisconsin, near Milwaukee.  When they arrived, Nick went to chat with his parents in a cafe and told them about his experiences so far on the show.  They teased him that they hope he finds love this time because they are tired of seeing him on the show!

After meeting with his parents, the one-on-one date this week went to Danielle and she had the exciting opportunity to tour his town and spend some time with Nick’s family.  They went to a bakery, ate cookies, and met an ex-girlfriend named Amber. Amber even answered the questions Danielle had.  After spending the day together and having a romantic dinner, Nick gave Danielle the date rose.  He surprised her afterwards with a high-energy and very romantic Chris Lane concert, where they got to dance together on the stage.

Meanwhile, back at the hotel, Rachel, Alexis, Vanessa, Jasmine, Jaimi, Sarah, Whitney, Kristina, Astrid, Taylor, Josephine, and Corinne were given a date card.  The only name not on on the card was Raven, which meant she would get a one-on-one date with Nick.

Nick took the women to a local dairy farm where they learned to milk and feed the cows.  It was fun at first, until he also had them shovel the manure.  Most of the girls were good sports … with the exception of Corinne.  She complained about the poop, then sulked on the sidelines by herself, whining that she needed sushi.  Her excuse for not helping was that her hands hurt.

Later, they all dressed up and had a cocktail party.  Kristina spent some one-on-one time with Nick and told her she has a zest for life and he hopes to spend more time with her.  Next, he cuddled up with Vanessa outside, wrapping them both in a blanket.  Vanessa gave Nick a book about her which had been made by her students. While they were spending romantic time together, Corinne heard the other girls complaining about her.  She confronted them, which created lots of drama!  Later, Corinne went and complained to Nick about how the other women have treated her, but she assured him that everything was fine now.

Nick gave the date rose to Kristina, which stunned Corinne.

The last date of the week was Nick’s one-on-one with Raven.  He took her to a park where his little sister, Bella, was having a soccer game, and then he introduced Raven to his family.  Afterwards, Nick and Raven went skating with Bella.  While Nick was skating, Bella quizzed Raven about her intentions and plans for the future.  The couple had a fabulous dinner in the Milwaukee Art Museum.  After dinner, they roller skated, again, but this time they were inside the museum!  It was a lovely date and Raven received the date rose from Nick.

At the end of the week, there was another cocktail party, during which Corinne got into an argument with Taylor.  Corinne was so upset, she said she felt like punching her in the face.

Once again, the week ended without the final rose ceremony.  We will have to wait until next week to find out who else he sent home!
