‘The Bachelor’ 2017: Who Did Nick Viall Keep and Send Home on Feb. 6, 2017?

On the Feb. 6, 2017 episode of  The Bachelor, Nick Viall finished the two-on-one date from the preceding week with Corrine and Taylor.  Afterwards, he held the rose ceremony which had been postponed from last week and only nine women were left.  The group took off for the U.S. Virgin Islands, where Nick took Kristina on a one-on-one date and learned her sad background.  Later, there was a group date with six women which went terribly wrong. Finally, there was a two-on-one date, the second this season.

Below is a brief recap of the show, as well as the list of the women who received roses this week … and those who did not.

The number of women on “The Bachelor” has been steadily whittled down until there were only 12 remaining at the beginning of this week … with more to be eliminated soon.

SPOILER ALERT:  Do not read further if you do not want to know what happened this week!

Brief Bachelor Recap Feb. 6, 2017:

The former episode ended with Nick on a two-on-one date with Taylor and Corrine.  Most of the other women back at the hotel hoped he would send Corrine home.  However, the opposite happened.  Nick kept Corrine and sent Taylor packing … although she showed up at his dinner with Corrine because she had more to say to him. The conversation did not change his mind, however.  Taylor had to leave.

Next, Chris Harrison announced the rose ceremony, and three more women were sent home.  You can see the names of those three women, as well as others who were sent home this week, further in this article.

After the rose ceremony, the remaining nine women traveled with Nick to St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

First, Nick spent a day with Kristina on the nearby island of St. John, during which he learned about her heartbreaking past.  She was adopted from Russia when she was a 12 year-old child.  Her mother had kicked her out of the house and sent her to the orphanage when she was only 5 or 6.  Kristina was close to the other children in the orphanage, but knew she did not have much of a future there.  Her American family has eight siblings, four of whom are adopted, including Kristina.  She also has a biological sister who is still in Russia, although she does not have much contact with her.    At the end of the evening, Nick gave her the date rose, assuring her another week with him.

Nick then took six women out in a Catamaran for a day at the beach.  They played beach volleyball and the winning team was supposed to spend the evening with him. However, the losing team refused to take “no” for an answer, so Nick agreed to include them in the evening plans. Several of the women complained about not getting enough time with him.  Two of the women became especially aggressive in their efforts to get Nick’s attention, which frustrated him. He began to wonder if he would ever find true love, despite the fact that this was his fourth time on one of The Bachelor franchise TV shows.  Raven, Corrine and Rachel were on the winning team.  Vanessa, Danielle M. and Jasmine were on the losing team, although it didn’t matter, since he brought them all out for the evening.  During the cocktail party, Nick sent one of them home.  You can find her name in the list below, too.

Finally, Nick took the remaining women, Whitney and Danielle L., on a two-on-one date. They took a helicopter to a private island.  After he chose between the two of them and left Whitney stranded on the island, he found it hard to connect with Danielle.  Danielle told Nick she was falling in love with him and, when he realized he did not feel the same way, he decided to send her home, as well.  By the end of the date, Nick became even more doubtful he would ever find true love, which caused him to dissolve into tears.

At the end of the episode, Nick only had six women left … and they were in shock that so many had gone home that week, and Nick was so upset.  You can see the names of who he kept and who he sent home in the lists after the photo and video below.
