Brief Bachelor Recap March 6, 2017:

Last week, Nick sent Corinne home during the New York City rose ceremony.  Afterwards, he and the remaining three women went to Lapland, Finland to start the Fantasy Suite dates, beginning with Raven.

This week, Nick and Raven finished their romantic night together and both seemed happy about how things went.  When Raven woke up in the cabin, she declared herself “satisfied” with the experience.

The next day, Nick and Rachel went cross-country skiing to a reindeer farm, where they snuggled up in front of a fireplace.  She confessed to Nick that she was afraid of rejection.  They then took a reindeer sleigh ride together.  Afterwards, they had dinner in a romantic cabin and Rachel confessed that she thought she was falling in love with him.  After they decided to spend the night together, they slipped into the bedroom.  The next morning, Rachel said the night was perfect and she was ready to “seal the deal.”

Finally, Vanessa and Nick have their turn.  First, they engaged in the Finnish custom of going for a dip in an ice cold pool of water, followed by warming themselves up in a hot sauna.  They repeated this several times. Afterwards, they relaxed in the hot tub and rehashed their hometown date.  He commented that her family was more traditional than he was.  She said there are things she would not compromise, like Sunday dinners with her family. They also discussed the biggest issue in their relationship … where to live. She said she wanted to remain in Canada; he said he was proud to be American and wanted to stay there.  They did decide to spend the night together, and Vanessa told Nick she was in love with him.

Once the Fantasy Suite dates are over, Nick had to choose one woman to send home at the rose ceremony.  It should not surprise fans that Nick sent Rachel home, since she has already been selected to be the next Bachelorette.  It has been widely announced by ABC.
