‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 13, Episode 23 Promo: Why Is Owen Crying?

Grey’s Anatomy Season 13 continues this week. There are just two episodes left, and Episode 23 looks like one of the most intense episodes of the season.

Let’s focus on the main part of the Grey’s Anatomy Season 13, Episode 23 promo. A patient asks Stephanie for help and then she’s attacked. Bailey needs to call a Code Orange, which looks to be the code for when a patient puts doctors’ lives at risk. The last time a code was called was when a child went missing in the hospital. The doors were automatically locked and the elevators shut off, causing Ben Warren to make a dangerous call that cost the life of a patient and her baby.

This time there are no indications that the call will cause a problem. Instead, one particular doctor’s life is put at risk. We know that Stephanie is being written out of the show. Jerrika Hinton made it clear earlier this year that she wasn’t returning for Grey’s Anatomy Season 14. Is this how she will be written out? Will she be killed or lose complete faith in medicine and the hospital?

Meanwhile, fans are going crazy in Grey’s Anatomy fan groups trying to work out why Owen is crying. He receives a knock on the door and someone asks for “Owen Hunt.” Fans have picked up on this, wondering whether it will be something about his mom. There are theories that Owen’s sister will turn up alive, but fans have said that if it was the military at the door then the people at the door would likely ask for “Major Hunt.” Despite being out of the military, they would likely use the term as a mark of respect for his rank and time in service.

Whatever the news is, Amelia will step up for her husband. She is seen consoling him, as he cries. This and the previous episode have been the turning points the two have needed to build on their crumbling relationship.

Grey’s Anatomy Season 13, Episode 23 will air on Thursday, May 11, 2017. There are just two episodes left of the season.
