It’s a fiery end to Grey’s Anatomy Season 13. After the explosion at the end of last week’s episode, there are now questions over who will die before the final credits.
Everyone should know by now that Jerrika Hinton is leaving the show. She confirmed earlier this year that she wouldn’t return for Grey’s Anatomy Season 14, and with the ending to last week it looks like a safe bet that Dr. Stephanie Edwards is going to be a fatality. However, will she be the only fatality?
During the promo, Ben Warren rushes back into the burning hospital, not happy with how slow the process is currently going. Richard Webber shared that he had been playing things too safely recently, especially after some of the dangerous decisions he made during Season 12. Is it possible that he will make a reckless decision that costs him his life?
Meanwhile, Jackson is seen wandering the burning floor for Stephanie, where the little girl from last week is trapped. Will he make it out alive or be one of the victims of the season?
While all this happen, Meredith will have to tell Riggs about Owen’s sister being alive. Two military officers came to Owen’s door to share that Megan Hunt had been found. Teddy Altman confirmed this and allowed Megan to be sent to Grey Sloan Memorial for treatment. While she may not be seen in Thursday’s Grey’s Anatomy Season 13 finale, she will likely appear in Season 14. This will certainly create a tricky situation for Meredith and Riggs, as Megan was Riggs’ fiance.
Grey’s Anatomy Season 13 finale will air on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 8pm on ABC.
