MTV Reality Star Christopher Boykin Has Died

Big of the MTV reality series “Rob & Big” – also known has Christopher Boykin died May 9 as a result of congestive heart failure in Plano, Texas at the age of 45. He also went by the nickname Big Black.

“Rob & Big” followed the adventures and antics of bodyguard Boykin and his friend and skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and ran on MTV from 2006 to 2008.

A writer, actor, and musician; wrote 15 episodes of “Rob & Big” and appeared in the “Arby’s Action Sports Awards”, “Jimmy Kimmell Live!”, “Last Call with Carson Daly”, six episodes of “Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory”, “Riciculousness”, and was a judge for the “Hooters 0212 International Swimsuit Pageant”.

Boykin is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for eating the most powdered doughnuts in under three minutes and for eating the most peeled bananas in only one minute.

An entrepreneur, Boykin had a clothing line selling items like hats and T-shirts with the phrase “Do Work”.

Prior to his appearance on MTV, Boykin served in the United States Navy as a galley chef.

The Guinness Book of World Records holder was born on January 13, 1972 in Raleigh, Mississippi.

He is survived by his ex-wife Shannon and daughter Isis.
