MLB Announces All Star Rosters

The fans have spoken – well voted – and the starting rosters for the 2017 edition of the Baseball All Star Game have been revealed. The 88th annual summer classic will see the best players in the game joining forces for bragging right as to which League – American or National – sports the best players.

In a different ballpark each year, this year the All Star Game will be held at Marlins Park in Miami, Florida on July 11 with the annual Home Run Derby held the night before the big game.

American League:
Justin Smoak of the Toronto Blue Jays at first base
Joe Altuve of the Houston Astros at second base
Jose Ramirez of the Cleveland Indians at third base
Carlos Correa of the Houston Astros at shortstop
Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees in the outfield
George Springer of the Houston Astros in the outfield
Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels in the outfield
Salvador Perez of the Kansas City Royals behind the plate as catcher
Corey Dickerson of the Tampa Bay Rays as the designated hitter

National League:
Ryan Zimmerman of the Washington Nationals at first base
Daniel Murphy of the Washington Nationals at second base
Nolan Arenado of the Colorado Rockies at third base
Zack Cozart of the Cincinnati Reds at shortstop
