Brief Bachelorette Recap July 10, 2017:
Rachel is a bright, beautiful Dallas attorney who now wants to set aside her career long enough to meet a potential husband. This week, she had to decide which men would get hometown dates and which men would now end their journey with her. As a reminder, the six remaining men were Adam, Bryan, Dean, Eric, Matt and Peter.
The first one-on-one date was with Bryan, and it began with a ride in a luxurious car. Rachel took Bryan on a shopping trip to a famous watch shop in Geneva where she purchased him a beautiful watch. Later, they went to the Victoria Concert Hall and he told her about his difficult former relationship. They danced to a string quartet and Rachel awarded him with the date rose, guaranteeing him a hometown date.
Dean then spent a day with Rachel, joking around and hiding his concern about introducing her to his dysfunctional family. She was touched by his honesty and emotional story, finally giving him a date rose, too.
Peter and Rachel went on a helicopter flight over the Swiss Alps, during the third one-on-one date of the week. They landed on the top of Glacier 3000, where they went on a fun dog sled ride. Once they found a cozy warm spot to stop, they cuddled together with cups of hot chocolate. Peter was concerned that the two of them had not spent much time alone together, but in the end that was not an issue. She gave him the date rose, securing a hometown date with him.
The last event was a group date with Adam, Eric and Matt. They took a boat to France, and Rachel made a point of spending private time with each of them as they strolled around an ancient castle. They were all concerned because they knew that only one of them could get a rose from this date. In the end, she gave the date rose to Eric. He secured the spot as the fourth hometown date. The two remaining men went home.
