Serenading on the Sea

Visitors who come to the Buffalo and Erie Country Military Park and Museum will see much more than artifacts from throughout history. The museum also features vehicles, aircraft, and ships – and not replicas but the real thing. The Military History Museum has three decommissioned ships as a part of their exhibit – the destroyer the USS Sullivans (named after five brothers who were killed serving together in World War II), the submarine the USS Croaker, and the guided missile cruiser the USS Little Rock.

As a part of the summer entertainment in Buffalo, the Military Park is sponsoring a series of concerts on the fantail of the USS Little Rock.

On August 15 Niagara Fall native and song bird Marsha McWilson will perform. A veteran entertainer, McWilson is best known for her portrayal of Etta James where she routinely performs “At Last”, “Tell Mama”, and her signature “I’d Rather Be Blind”.

Join Marsha McWilson on the fantail of the USS Little Rock at 6pm for the music of Etta James.

Also performing as a part of the Little Rock Concert Series are:
Route Two 40 Ride on August 8
the 2017 Party in the Park Annual Fundraiser on August 22 – show begins at 5pm
and The Buffalo Dolls with Richie and Debbie Derwald on August 29
