Cinderella Finish at MIS for Truck Racers

The Camping World Truck Series travels to Michigan International Speedway for the LTI Printing 200. The drivers will run some of their fastest speeds around the two mile track.

After two rounds of single truck qualifying Matt Crafton wins the pole and will bring the field down for the green flag.

Stages one and two of the race are 30 laps each with stage three lasting 40 laps for a total of 100 laps around the two mile track.

In his bright yellow truck, Matt Crafton brings the field down for the green flag start of the race and edges out Johnny Sauter to take the lead of the race.

The first caution flag of the race comes out on lap four when John Hunter Nemechek gets loose and backs into the wall. John Hunter joins his Dad Joe as the first two trucks out of the race.

Even though they have been on the track for only a few laps, some drivers bring their trucks down pit road for adjustments and fresh tires.

Matt Crafton brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 10 but Chase Briscoe takes over the lead of the race with a little help from Kyle Busch with a big push.

Johnny Sauter, Kyle Busch, and Chase Briscoe make it three way battle for the lead with Johnny Sauter taking the top spot with Chase Briscoe second and Kyle Busch ending up in fourth. Matt Crafton is third.

Chase Briscoe takes over the lead of the race on lap 12 with Matt Crafton ins second and Kyle Busch third.

Todd Peck, Ray Ciccerelli, and Mike Senica are all off of the track.

Kyle Busch has taken over the lead of the race on lap 17.

With eight laps remaining in the stage Kyle Busch leads the race with 21 trucks on the lead lap and seven trucks either off the track or out of the race.

Lap 26 Kyle Busch continues to lead with 19 trucks on the lead lap.

Kyle Busch wins stage one for his seventh stage win this season.

Driver bring their trucks down pit road for fresh tires, a full load of fuel, and adjustments.

Kyle Busch leads the race off of pit road.

Kyle Busch brings the field down for the green flag start of stage two on lap 35and gets out in front for the lead after Ryan Truex and Chase Briscoe make it three wide.

Rookie Chase Briscoe is on Kyle Busch’s bumper learning all that he can.

Johnny Sauter makes an unscheduled trip down pit road for a vibration and suspected loose wheel. Sauter is now one lap down. Pit reporters announce it was a flat tire.

Lap 44 Kyle Busch continues to lead the race with Chase Briscoe just a tenth of a second behind. Matt Crafton is in third.

Jordan Anderson brings out the caution flag when his hood gets up blocking his vision.

Christopher Bell comes down pit road just before the end of the stage for service hoping to gain some track position and stage points .

Justin Haley brings the field down for the green flag start of stage three on lap 66. Cody Coughlin gets loose and hits the wall hard sending the tuck airborne on the restart. Kyle Busch has a flat tire and some damage to the left front of his truck.

Chase Briscoe has to come down pit road for a flat tire just before NASCAR was set to restart the race. There was also some damage to the right front of the truck that needed attention.

Chase Briscoe had to make a second trip down pit road for a flat left rear tire.

Eighteen year olds Austin Cindric and Justin Haley bring the field down for the green flag restart on lap 73 with Austin Cindric getting a push from Christopher Bell to take the lead of the race. Darrell Wallace Jr is in third.

Lap 76 the top 10 breakaway from the rest of the field with Austin Cindric still leading the race.

Twenty to go and Austin Cindric is still out in front of the field with the lead.

Lap 187 Austin Cindric holds on to the lead of the race by less than two tenths of a second on Christopher Bell with Darrell Wallace Jr in third.

Lap 189 Christoper Bell Challenges Austin Cindric for the lead but Darrell Wallace Jr shoots past them both to take over the lead of the race. Wallace has not been behind the wheel of a Camping World Series truck since 2014 at Homestead.

With only seven laps remaining in the race, the front running trucks are running laps faster than pole speeds.

With less than five laps remaining in the race, team mates Kyle Busch and Christoper Bell swap positions back and forth.

With two laps remaining in the race, Austin Cindric challenges Darrell Wallace for the lead but Wallace holds on to take the white flag.

On the white flag lap Christoper Bell challenges Wallace for the lead but Wallace holds on to the lead and wins the race.
