Meet the DWTS Season 25 Cast

The speculation is over, ABC has officially revealed all 13 of the celebrities that will be joining the cast for season 25 of “Dancing with the Stars”. For the first time in DWTS history there is a wife swap and two married couple will be competing against each other. And a new dancer joins the professional cast of dancers.


The season 25 cast includes a Shark, athletes, musicians, actors, and a Property brother.

Season 25 of DWTS premieres at 8pm on Monday September 18.

When the new cast was revealed on “Good Morning America”, the dancers got a little surprise; season 24 winner Rashad Jennings was in the audience. Jennings told the new cast members, “a piece of advice I would give to everybody is, don’t take yourself too serious. Have fun. It’s an experience of a lifetime. And don’t let the judges get under your skin. Embrace it all, really. Truly embrace it all.”


Meet the season 25 DWTS cast:

Drew Scott is one half of the twin hosts of the HGTV series “Property Brothers” – a show where the brother flip houses. Drew will be dancing with season 24 champion professional dancer Emma Slater.

Actress Sasha Pieterse is best known for her role on the award winning television drama “Pretty Little Liars”. Also a music artist, Sasha will be dancing with Gleb Savchenko.

New York real estate businesswoman and “Shark Tank” star Barbara Corcoran has been paired up with South African dance champion Keo Motsepe.

Last season DWTS landed its first professional baseball player when David Ross went all the way to the finals, this season the show gets its first professional basketball player when former Basketball champion Derek Fisher has played with the Los Angeles Lakers, the Golden State Warriors, the Dallas Mavericks, the Utah Jazz, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and coached the New York Nicks. He will be dancing with Sharna Burgess.

It’s another first for DWTS, when female swimmer Victoria Arlen joins the cast. The gold medal winning paralympion will be partnered with Valentin Chmerkovskiy.

Broadway performer Jordan Fisher acted and sang in the award winning hit show “Hamilton” and appeared in the live television presentation of “Grease”. Now he is looking to add Ballroom dancing to his list of accomplishments when he pairs up with Lindsey Arnold this season.

Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace is best known to her fans as Nikki Bella is a World Wrestling Entertainment star who also made headlines for saying yes to fellow wrestler John Cena’s marriage proposal during a WrestleMania event. Nikki will be dancing with British dance champion Artem Chigvintsev this season.

National Football League Hall of Famer and six time Pro Bowl player Terrell Owens joins the growing list of football stars who have strutted their stuff on the dance floor and shown that they are more than jut a “dumb jock”. Terrell will be dancing with returning DWTS champion Cheryl Burke.

“Malcolm in the Middle” star Frankie Muniz is more than just an actor, he has also dabbled in racing cars, writing, producing, and music. Now he is adding dancing to his list when he pairs up with DWTS champion Witney Carson.

Musician and Broadway performer Debbie Gibson was a chart topping artist when she was just a child and hold a Guinness Book of World Record for being the youngest female to write, produce, and record a number one single – “Only in My Dreams”. Debbie will be paired with the newest professional dancer – Alan Bersten. Last season Alan danced in for Maks when he was injured, and it was Maks who said that Alan deserved a spot as one of the professional dancers and not just a member of the DWTS Troupe.

In the first ever DWTS “Wife Swap”, Vanessa and Nick Lachay and Peta and Maksim Chmerkovskiy will change partners with Vanessa dancing with Maks and Nick dancing with Peta. Nick Lachay is best known for being a member of the boy band 98 Degrees. Nick has since gone on to a solo music career and was a host of the newly revived game show “Newlyweds”. Before marrying Nick, the then Vanessa Minnillo was crowned Miss Teen USA in 1998.

New Age electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling returns to the Ballroom but this time she has put down her violin and is joining the cast as one of the dancing competitors. She will be very busy this fall with her first Christmas tour and dancing with Mark Ballas who returns to DWTS after performing on Broadway in “Jersey Boys”.
