CWTS Begins the Playoffs at Loudon

The playoffs come to the Camping World Truck Series in Loudon, New Hampshire for the UNOH 175.

For the first round of the playoffs, eight truck drivers will compete for a chance to move on to the top six for round two.

After three rounds of qualifying with a lap under 29 seconds around the one mile track Noah Gragson wins the pole for his third pole of the season.

Stages one and two of the race are 55 laps each with stage three lasting 65 laps.

Cody Coughlin’s team was charged with making unapproved adjustments on the truck; as a result, Coughlin will have to start the race from the back of the field.

Noah Gragson brings the field down for the green flag start of the race and holds on to the lead for the first lap.

NASCAR has black flagged Mike Senica for having a smoking truck.

Lap seven 18 year old Noah Gragson is leading the race.

Lap 13 Christopher Bell challenges Noah Gragson for the lead, but so far Gragson holds on to the lead of the race.

Lap 15 Noah Gragson continues to lead the race.

Lap 24 there are 19 trucks on the track with three trucks off the track.

Christopher Bell passes Noah Gragson for the lead on lap 25 but Gragson retakes the lead one lap later.

Lap 30 Noah Gragson holds on to the lead by just a tenth of a second over Christopher Bell.

Lap 32 Christopher Bell again challenges Noah Gragson for the lead but cannot complete the pass.

John Hunter Nemechek makes an unscheduled pit stop for a vibration and will go a lap down.

Lap 40 Noah Gragson holds on to the lead by two tenths of a second on Christopher

Lap 41 Christopher Bell blows past Noah Gragson to take over the lead of the race with 15 trucks on the lead lap and six trucks either off the track or out of the race.

Lap 46 John Hunter Nemechek takes his truck to the garage for repairs after more reports of a vibration.

Lap 49 Christopher Bell has a lead of a second and a half over Noah Gragson.

Lap 52 Ben Rhodes passes Noah Gragson to take over the second place spot two seconds behind leader Christopher Bell.

Christopher Bell wins stage one by a second and a half over Ben Rhodes. This is Bell’s sixth stage win this season.

Christopher Bell comes off of pit road in fourth place. Taking only two tires, Todd Gillialand wins the race off of pit road followed by Matt Crafton.

After winning the race off of pit road, Todd Gilliand was charged with running over equipment on pit road and will have to restart the race from the back of the field.

Matt Crafton brings the field down for the green flag start of stage two on lap 62 and holds on to the lead.

Noah Gragson brings out the first on track caution flag of the race when he gets loose, gets into Kaz Grala and Johnny Sauter. There is significant damage to Gragson’s truck.

Matt Crafton brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 68 and holds on to the lead with Christopher Bell in second. There are 16 trucks on the lead lap.

Johnny Sauter’s truck is sending out sparks after making contact with Noah Gragson but stays out on the track.

The caution flag comes out on lap 72 for debris on the track. The “debris” was a tail pipe from Johnny Sauter’s truck.

Matt Crafton brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 75. Christopher Bell challenges Matt Crafton for the lead and passes to retake the lead of the race.

Lap 78 Christopher Bell has a lead of nearly a second on Matt Crafton with Ryan Truex in third over a second behind.

Todd Gilliland and Austin Cindric make contact causing a tire rub on Gilliland’s truck

John Hunter Nemechek has returned to the track 36 laps down after repairing a gear issue.

Lap 88 Christopher Bell has a lead of nearly a second on Matt Crafton with Ryan Truex in third over a second and a half behind.

Lap 92 Christopher Bell has pulled out to a second and a half lead over Matt Crafton with 16 trucks on the lead lap.

With only eight laps remaining in stage two, Christopher Bell has a lead of over two seconds on Matt Crafton.

With six laps remaining in the stage, Christopher Bell has increased his lead to two and a half seconds on Matt Crafton with Ryan Truex in third just under three seconds behind the leader.

With only two laps remaining in the stage Christopher Bell has pulled out to a lead of nearly three and a half seconds over Matt Crafton.

Taking two tires Ben Rhodes wins the race off of pit road. Leader Christopher Bell took four tires and came out in fifth place.

Ben Rhodes brings the field down for the green flag start of stage three on lap 119 and holds on t the lead of the race.

On lap 120 Ben Rhodes has pulled out to a half second lead on Austin Cindric.

Lap 123 Christopher Bel has moved up to third place nearly a second and a half behind leader Ben Rhodes. Ryan Truex is in second. There are 15 trucks on the lead lap.

The caution flag comes out when Austin Cindric and Kaz Grala make contact resulting in Cincric spinning out.

Ben Rhodes brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 1131 Ryan Truex passing for the lead and Christopher Bell taking second.

Lap 134 Christopher Bell challenges Ryan Truex for the lead.

With 35 laps remaining in the race, Ryan Truex has a lead of only two tenths over Christopher Bell.

With 28 laps remaining in the race, Christopher Bell continues to challenge Ryan Truex for the lead but so far Truex has been able to hold off Bell.

Twenty four to go and Ryan Truex holds on to the lead with Christopher Bell in second and Todd Gilliland in third.

Twenty to go, Ryan Truex has a two tenths lead on Christopher Bell.

With 16 laps remaining in the race Christopher Bell passes Ryan Truex to take over the lead of the race.

With 12 laps to go Christopher Bell has a half second lead on Ryan Truex.

Ten to go and Christopher Bell has a lead of over half a second on Ryan Truex.

Seven to go and Christopher Bell has pulled out to a lead of over a second on Ryan Truex.

Five to go and Christopher Bell’s lead is 1.2 seconds.

Christopher Bell takes the white flag.

Christopher Bell wins the race and sweeps all three stages. He maintains his number one spot in the playoffs and ensures his spot in the next round of the championship. This is Bell’s fifth CWTS win this season.
