Fall Hair Fashion Brings Super Style Plus Something Extra!

The word on the street this Fall for fabulous hair style is healthy, shiny tresses. Looks like hair can be daring, dazzling or diverse. From short and bobbed or wild and woolly to even an add-on extra— it’s all in the Fall works.

Sarah Potempa- the celeb stylist who also works with Reese Witherspoon, and other super stars said that “Coming off summer, you’re looking for something more polished and shiny.”

Braids are also big again this Fall and are “deceptively easy” to produce. Potempa suggests keeping it simple by doing what you know, when it comes to basic braiding.

Wispy tendrils, constructed ponytails, big curly hair, sleek- straight and long, the always-simple but elegant top-knot plus shorter carefree bobs are also hot right now as the weather cools. Even a simple and elegant hair band- if well-placed, can look great on short, medium or long hair. And if that doesn’t top off your Fall hair looks- what about a hairpiece or a bright green wig? Hairpieces and wigs in fun or serious down-to-earth shades are really big this Autumn. And what a great time to enjoy their versatility when the weather is cooler!

The Spring/Summer 2018 catwalks have all featured numerous hairpieces already. In New York, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid wore cool and cropped pieces at Tom Ford and at Laurence and Chico- models revealed high sculpted wigs in a rainbow of colours!

Jeremy Scott’s Moschino presentation in Milan showcased models looking retro with their gamine, 1960s-style pixie-cut wigs. And now the latest wig thing is going slightly more mainstream as celebrities such as Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, and more recently, Rihanna, showing off some surprising quick change wigs with candy colours on stage and off. And let’s not forget all the numerous models who have joined the colourful hairpiece habit, like Gigi Hadid and Amber Rose.

Bella Hadid sported a shorter do for Vogue China, and Kaia Gerber was dressing up in a rose-hued wig for a Vogue US shoot this month.

Will the trend be popular with the regular folk? Celebrity wigs are pricey, however, with the rising popularity of these no fuss clip-in ponytails and bangs, we just could see that they are extending their popularity into more accessibly-priced choices.
