This is the fourth lug nut infraction by the number 19 team. As a result of the infraction, the crew chief for the number 19 team – Scott Graves – has been fined $10,000.

Graves was also fined for a lug nut infraction after the Pocono race in June, the New Hampshire race in July, and the Bristol race in July.

Also in the Xfinity Series, the number 19 Joe Gibbs Racing car driven by Matt Tifft was also found to have a ride height infraction – the car measured too low in post race inspection. Tifft is a part of the round of 12 in the playoffs. The points penalty has not kept Tifft from continuing as a part of the playoff drivers.
