“The Voice” has reached another semifinals with the eight remaining artists performing twice – a solo piece and a duet with a fellow competitor.
Fans who cast a vote for a duet via a download, streaming, or tweeting will give a vote to both singers. The coaches will not be remarking on the duet performances.
Last week fans saw two artists go home, but this week the field will be cut in half when four artists are eliminated on Tuesday’s results show.
First up is team Adam’s Adam Cunningham who survived the bottom two twice before being saved last week by fan votes. Coach Adam is now letting Cunningham choose his own songs and Adam chose the Lonestar hit “I’m Already There” for his solo performance this week. Coach Adam predicts the song will reach the top 10. Saying that he always loved the song, Blake called it a great song choice. Blake noted that he could tell the lyric meant something to Adam; adding that he sang the daylights out of the song. Coach Adam called Adam Cunningham such a surprise; adding that Adam deserved to be in the finals.
In the first duet of the night, Chloe and Noah paired up for a performance of Chris Isaaks’ hit “Wicked Game”.
Team Jennifer’s Davon Fleming performed the John Mayer song “Gravity”. Host Carson Daly called the performance something special. After repeating What!!!, Adam said that he always felt Davon had an ability like no other; adding it was a beautiful song choice. Coach Jennifer said that they all felt Davon tonight; adding that every bit of his heart was in the song…and she can’t teach that.
Team Blake’s Red Marlow chose a song that he and Blake both call one of their favourites – “Go Rest High on that Mountain” by Vince Gill. Red put down his guitar for this week’s performance. Miley called Red so authentic. Saying that he doesn’t have to brag on Red, Blake noted that every Country music fan just realized what Red just did for Country music; adding that Vince Gill is sitting back somewhere with a big grin on his face.
Brooke and Davon paired up for a performance of The Weeknd’s “Earned It”.
Team Blake’s Keisha Renee sang “What Hurts the Most” by Rascal Flatts. Miley noted that Keisha has done songs that she loved but sang them her own way.. Coach Blake said that he didn’t know what else Keisha could have done to put herself in the final four.
Red Marlow and Adam Cunningham paired up for a performance of “Can’t You See” and had a lot of fun singing with each other.
Team Blake’s Chloe Kohanski performed “I Want to Know What Love Is” by Foreigner. Saying that he is going on record, Blake said that it was the biggest night Chloe had ever had on the show; adding that Chloe is the iconic voice that they have ever had on the show.

Team Jennifer’s Noah Mac performed “River” by Bishop Briggs. Miley noted that every performance Noah has brought something youthful and powerful to the stage. Coach Jennifer said that she didn’t even know what to say; noting that Noah commanded the stage. Jennifer said that she forgot it was a competition because it felt like one of Noah’s shows.
Team Adam’s Addison Agen performed the Joni Mitchell classic “Both Sides Now”. Saying that he is such a fan, Blake said that he appreciated how Addison is the flagship for female singers, teens, and singer songwriters. Coach Adam said that Addison has changed the way he views the game; adding that he would rather her sing songs that mean something to her. Adam called Addison “The Voice” and beyond and one of the most special gifts he has ever worked with.
Closing out the night of entertainment, team Miley’s only artist Brooke performed “Faithfully” by Journey. Coach Miley said that if Brooke was not in the finale, then she didn’t know what the show was about; adding that the winner was standing right there.
