Active Shooter at YouTube Headquarters in California

UPDATE 2: The woman that opened fire at #YouTube Headquarters on Tuesday has been identified as Nasim Najafi Aghdam, 39, whose last known address is in the San Diego area. Authorities said she used a 9mm handgun.
UPDATE: Police confirm a female suspect in the YouTube headquarters shooting is dead.

March 3, 2018 Law enforcement officers in San Bruno, California responded to several 911 calls of an active shooter situation on Tuesday at the YouTube headquarters.

The San Bruno Police Department official Twitter account sent out the following tweet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon:

“responding to an active shooter Please stay away from Cherry Ave & Bay Hill Drive”

The shooting took place in an outdoor cafe on the grounds of the YouTube headquarters campus. San Bruno Police were seen placing evidence markers near the seating area of the cafe.

Local News Station KPIX 5 reports that at least two Homeland Security units were responding. San Francisco General Hospital spokesman Brent Andrew said the hospital received patients from the incident but could not confirm a number.

San Bruno Police officers are also on the scene. The San Francisco Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) said agents are responding to the scene.

YouTube headquarters is located approximately 12 miles south of San Francisco, close to San Francisco International Airport.
