Never Kiss Your Best Friend (NKYBF) was originally based on Sumrit Shahi’s book by the same name which was published in May 2015. Season 1 of the web series was quite a hit among the audience. So the makers decided to move ahead with a new season of the rom-com series. NKYBF 2 picks up the story from where it was left off, which is Tanie and Sumer’s break-up. In the new season, we get to see the duo reunite as they end up working in the same company. This online series is a light-hearted comedy and romance series in which two diverse personalities meet and vow to be lifelong friends.

Plot
Meraki Studios, a media production business, hires both of them. As expected, Tanie is the writer, and Sumer is the director. Tanie’s surprising attraction to Karan Saxena (Karan Wahi), a Meraki actor with a storied career adds a twist to the narrative. Tanie desires a companion that is sleek, and charming, and Karan is everything she wants in a partner. Sumer, on the other hand, is becoming closer to Lavanya (Sarah Jane Dias), the Meraki heir. She is a level headed woman trying to establish a name for herself as some people continue to blame her for her past.
Cast
Nakuul Mehta and Anya Singh are the lead star cast of the series and will be reprising their roles in the new season. The new addition of actors includes Karan Wahi and Sarah Jane Dias in pivotal roles. Talented actors like Sapna Pabbi, Javed Jaffrey, Niki Walia, and Deepti Bhatnagar will play supporting roles in NKYBF 2.
