Want to make your digital payments quicker?

The growing popularity of smartphones and mobile apps is mainly due to the convenience of making payments online. People choose digital payments for it is quick, easy, and cashless. Studies revealed an increase in the volume of digital payments by 33 percent in the financial year 2021-22 in India. Other than individuals, businesses also use online payment methods to pay off their creditors. Salaries and commissions are paid online, as well as credit card and utility bills.

Most banks have launched their own banking apps that integrate with the popular payment apps like UPI or United Payment Interface to facilitate instant payments or transfer of funds. These apps help you pay for retail transactions at the point of sale (POS) or from anywhere online, mobile phone recharge, DTH connection, and EMI repayments. IDFC FIRST Bank offers you one of the best digital banking apps to help the users make payments safely, securely, and conveniently.

The latest version of the banking app is designed to have many advanced features that help check account balances, view bank statements, schedule payments for a later date, and receive alerts and notifications. You can even use the ebanking service to schedule recurring payments before the due date and avoid penalties for late payments.

The app also allows you to register for an ‘Autopay’ facility by enabling the ‘Autopay future bills’ option.

  • UPI Payments

Using the integrated UPI payment app is another method of making quick digital payments or peer-to-peer money transfers.
